Contact

AudioDoc is made by a small independent team. For support, billing questions, refunds, bug reports, or anything else:

hello@audiodoc.io

Copy the address into your email app, it isn't a link on purpose.

We answer every message, usually within one business day. You can also use Report a Bug inside the studio.

Terms of Service

AudioDoc is a recording, mixing, and mastering studio that runs in your web browser at audiodoc.io. By creating an account or using AudioDoc, you agree to these terms.

Your account

  • You need an email address (or a phone number) to sign in. Keep your sign-in email secure; anyone with access to it can access your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use AudioDoc. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf and must be the one who purchases a Pro subscription.
  • One person per account. Don't share your account or resell access.

Your audio is yours

  • Everything you record, load, edit, or export in AudioDoc belongs to you. We claim no rights to your music, voice, or projects.
  • Your audio is processed on your own device, in your browser. We don't upload your recordings or projects to our servers.
  • You're responsible for what you make with AudioDoc. Don't use it to infringe other people's copyrights or to create anything illegal.

Free and Pro

  • The Free plan is free, with limits on tracks, exports, and saved presets and beats.
  • AudioDoc Pro removes those limits. It is a subscription billed monthly or yearly through our payment partner, Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record. Prices are shown at checkout.
  • Prices may increase over time, modestly, roughly in step with inflation, not by surprise. If the price of your monthly or yearly plan is going to change, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then at no cost. Features and Free-plan limits may also change over time.

Protected software

  • AudioDoc's source code carries embedded, unique identifying markers that persist in any copy, modified or not. Copies running outside audiodoc.io automatically report their location to us, and we monitor the web on an ongoing basis for our markers.
  • Any unauthorized copy, redistribution, hosting, or derivative of AudioDoc is traceable to this source, and we will pursue every available remedy, including takedown, account termination, and legal action.
  • By using AudioDoc you agree not to copy, decompile, extract, redistribute, or host any part of it.

Sounds and samples

  • The sounds built into AudioDoc may be used freely in your own recordings, including commercially. Most carry no conditions. A small number are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY), which asks that the author be credited when a work containing them is published; AudioDoc identifies these at export and provides the credit line to paste. Full sound credits are listed in the app under Credits & Licenses.

Analyzer and automated tools

  • AudioDoc's Analyzer and other automated processing features are software aids that operate on estimates and general audio-engineering heuristics. They are not an exact science, are not calibrated to any professional standard, and may produce findings or corrections that are inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular recording. The Analyzer is a work in progress and is refined on an ongoing basis; its findings should be read as guidance, not as a definitive measurement of your audio.
  • You are responsible for evaluating any suggested or applied change by ear and for the final result of your work. AudioDoc makes no warranty as to the accuracy of the Analyzer's findings or the fitness of its corrections for any purpose, and accepts no liability for outcomes arising from their use.
  • Any change made by the Analyzer can be removed within the application.

The usual stuff

  • AudioDoc is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free or always available. Always keep your own copies of anything important.
  • To the extent the law allows, AudioDoc isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.
  • We can suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, other users, or these terms.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA.

Privacy Policy

Short version: we keep almost nothing, we never see your audio, and we don't sell anything about you.

What we collect

  • Account basics, your email address, a username you choose, and optionally a backup email, a phone number, and a profile photo. These exist so you can sign in and recover your account.
  • Plan and usage counts, whether you're on Free or Pro, and simple counters such as how many exports you've used on the Free plan.
  • Purchase records, if you buy Pro, Lemon Squeezy handles payment. We receive your email and a license key; we never see your card number.
  • Bug reports, if you use "Report a Bug," we receive the message you type, your browser and device type, and the email you choose to include.

What we don't collect

  • Your recordings, projects, and exports. They're processed in your browser and never sent to us.
  • We don't run advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on AudioDoc, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who helps us run AudioDoc

A few trusted services process limited data on our behalf, only to do their job: a hosting provider for the website, app, and accounts; an email service for sign-in codes and receipts; a text-message service, only if you add a phone number; and a payment processor that handles Pro purchases and issues license keys. We never see your card number.

Cookies and storage

AudioDoc stores your settings, presets, and sign-in session in your browser's local storage so the studio remembers you. There are no advertising cookies.

Your choices

  • You can change your username, backup email, phone number, and photo any time from your profile.
  • To delete your account and everything we hold about you, email hello@audiodoc.io from your account email. We'll confirm and remove it.

Children

AudioDoc is made to be safe for young creators, but accounts require you to be 13 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Refunds & Cancellation

  • Try before you pay. Every Pro plan starts with a 3-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time during it at no cost.
  • Cancel any time. Cancel from the link in your receipt email, or email hello@audiodoc.io. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be billed again.
  • Monthly plans aren't refunded for the current month once it has been charged; cancelling simply stops the next charge.
  • Yearly plans can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the charge. After that, the plan runs to the end of the year and won't renew.
  • Something went wrong? If you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or AudioDoc didn't work for you, write to us. We'd rather refund a fair request than argue about it.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days.
